Local Picks - Things To Do in Bodrum

Our Local Picks for Bodrum are selected by people who actually live here, not by algorithms or businesses paying for attention. We’re talking about the kind of advice you’d get from a friend who’s spent years wandering Bodrum’s streets and beaches, someone who knows the quieter coves and the lively corners where locals hang out.

You’ll find suggestions covering different parts of town, from the old harbour area to the hills above Gümüşlük, and even some seasonal tips like where to catch early summer morning light or the best restaurants when the crowds thin out after September. This is about real experiences, so expect recommendations ranging from a late afternoon stroll through Bodrum’s Tuesday market to a boat trip most tourists don’t take on busy weekends. We update this list regularly because Bodrum itself changes with the seasons and new spots pop up all the time.
