After pickup from Kos port, take a scenic boat cruise across the Aegean Sea to Bodrum. Following passport control and customs, enjoy a full day to explore Bodrum independently.
At the port, see white houses built amphitheatrically on the hillside, numerous sailboats and yachts, and one of the most imposing castles globally. Walk along charming streets and admire the architecture. Visit historical landmarks such as Bodrum Castle and the ancient Greek city of Halicarnassus, the Windmills, and the ancient Greek Theatre with 13,000 seats.
If history is not your focus, explore the narrow streets to discover local cuisine. Try Turkish coffee or tea at a traditional coffee shop, or sample kebabs, mezes, and the sweet kazandibi. Afterwards, browse a large bazaar where you can shop for souvenirs, folk art, crafts, and clothing while experiencing the aromas of spices and local products. Many vendors accept euros, and most speak Greek or English.
For a traditional experience, consider visiting a Turkish bath. Relax in the steam room while a professional masseur relieves stress and muscle tension. At the end of your visit, return by boat to Kos port for your onward journey.
