Description
Your tour begins with a 7 a.m. pickup from your Antalya hotel and a private transfer to Demre. At Demre Harbour, board the boat that will take you on a scenic journey to Kekova Island.
Discover Kekova's Sunken City on a boat equipped with a glass-bottom window, offering views of ancient underwater ruins. Enjoy a swim break at Aquarium Bay known for its clear waters.
Stop at Kaleköy port (ancient Simena) for an hour to explore the village, castle ruins, and necropolis. You may also choose to hike in the area or swim in the surrounding waters.
Lunch and another swim break are scheduled at Esmeralda Bay, followed by a visit to Burc Bay where cool underwater springs lower the water temperature, perfect for swimming.
Continue to Gökkaya Bay for a swim and optional water sports. Visit Pirates Cave, known for its large size and curved entrance. At Karemlik Bay, spot up to three species of sea turtles in their natural habitat.
On land, visit the Museum of Lycian Civilizations accessed via walking paths past the Andriake ruins. The museum houses artifacts from nearby Lycian cities.
Next, explore St. Nicholas Church, also known as the Santa Claus Museum, originally built in 520 A.D. in memory of St. Nicholas of Myra. Then discover the ancient city of Myra, featuring a large Roman-style theatre and rock-cut tombs.
The day concludes with a transfer back to Antalya, allowing you to continue your holiday with memories of the sites visited.
