Description

Meet your guide at the port and head to Bodrum Castle (St. Peter’s Castle). Explore its towers and courtyards while your guide shares stories of medieval times and seafaring. Inside the castle grounds, opt to visit the Museum of Underwater Archaeology. Next, proceed to the Ancient Theater, dating from the 4th century BC, where you’ll enjoy scenic views over Bodrum Bay. Continue to the ruins of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus — once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Afterwards, visit a local carpet shop, where artisans will demonstrate traditional Turkish carpet weaving. Browse and purchase carpets, but all purchases and workshop fees are on your own. Finally, enjoy some free time in Bodrum’s old town and bazaar. Stroll through the lanes filled with shops and cafés, sip a Turkish tea or coffee (not included), and soak in the atmosphere before being returned to the port in time for your cruise departure.
