Description
Day 1: Fethiye to St. Nicholas Island Join us for an exciting week of exploration aboard a Turkish Gulet yacht departing from Fethiye Harbour. Check-in at 09:30 am, board at 10:30 am, and set sail for Butterfly Valley. Swim, hike, and admire diverse butterflies. Enjoy lunch onboard before heading to Oludeniz, famous for paragliding. Opt for a thrilling flight over the Blue Lagoon. End the day at St. Nicholas Island with sunset views and ancient ruins. Day 2: St. Nicholas Island to Kas In the early morning, our skilled crew will guide the gulet along the coast to Hidayet Bay near Patara. Enjoy breakfast upon arrival, then swim before we sail to Kas. This charming fishing village offers great shopping and an ancient theatre. Lunch is best enjoyed in town. In the afternoon, join our onboard Cooking Class to learn how to make Turkish Cheese Rolls and pancakes, followed by a brunch with your creations. Later, we'll anchor in a secluded bay between Kas and Kekova for the night. Day 3: Sunken City of Kekova Today's first stop is the Sunken City of Kekova, ancient ruins submerged due to a 2nd-century earthquake. While we'll cruise by for a view, swimming and snorkeling aren't allowed as it's a UNESCO site. Later, we'll anchor near Kekova Island for exploration, including Simena Castle with its stunning bay views. Day 4: Demre to Kekova After an early swim, breakfast is served as we cruise to Demre Harbour by 11:00 am. Guests can explore Lycian tombs or opt for a visit to Myra and St. Nicholas Church (additional fee). Next, we head to Turtle Beach for swimming and turtle watching. Returning to the Sunken City of Kekova, guests can visit Simena Castle or explore nearby sarcophagi. Tea at Aquarium Bay precedes our night anchorage at Kocakari Bay. Day 5: Kekova to Kas or Fırnaz Enjoy a leisurely morning as we sail back to Kas for shopping or café time. Lunch is typically in town. Join our Cooking Class in the afternoon to learn Turkish Cheese Rolls and pancakes, then brunch on your creations. We'll cruise to Firnaz Bay near Kalkan for another enchanting night on the water. Day 6: Butterfly Valley, Oludeniz and St. Nicholas Church Wake early to experience the whimsical beauty of the Mediterranean Sea at first light as we make our way towards Butterfly Valley. You can do the activity you didn’t on our previous visit (swim or hike) while enjoying one of the most photogenic beaches in the world—Oludinez. There will also be the opportunity to go paragliding again before we anchor at St. Nicholas Island to enjoy its majestic sunset views. Day 7: St. Nicholas Island to Fethiye Enjoy a leisurely morning with a swim and breakfast before we cruise along the coast. Stop for a final swim at a bay near Fethiye before returning to Fethiye Harbour after lunch (between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.). Say farewell to the crew and fellow travelers as you continue your adventures in Turkey.Includes
